In his debut season at Kentucky, Wheeler continued to shine, averaging 10.1 points per game and leading the SEC with 6.9 assists per game.

Head coach Kenny Payne has been active in adding players in the postseason. He recently added 5-star center Dennis Evans and Skyy Clark, a former 5-star recruit.

While the extent of his playtime is uncertain, having him available will be crucial, especially if Cason Wallace experiences any injuries or foul trouble.

Throughout the senior season, Wheeler has averaged 7.7 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game on 41.7% shooting over 21 games

Wheeler has been absent since “tweaking an ankle in practice” early in February and hasn’t played since February 4th against Florida

Wheeler’s basketball journey began in Atlanta before he moved to Hampton, Va. in August of 2016.

On Monday night Coach Calipari said on his weekly radio show that “The doctors are telling him how to proceed” and they are keeping him informed. 

Wheeler’s impressive high school performance earned him offers from several universities, including LSU, Texas, and Georgia.

White is an impressive 6-5 center and is currently ranked as the third-best prospect and top-ranked center in the state of Kentucky in the class of 2024, according to Prep Girls Hoops. She has been a standout player at Butler Traditional High School, where she has earned three letters under head coach Candyce Wheeler. Additionally, White has played on the Adidas 3SSB circuit with coach Richard Jeter.

In addition to being an accomplished athlete, Cicha is also an outstanding student. She is majoring in Individualized Studies with a focus on environmental science, has a minor in biology and Arabic, and has been named to the Dean’s List four consecutive years.
