University of Kentucky student-athletes Bryanna Lucas and Zane Rosley have been selected to represent the Wildcats at the Southeastern Conference Career Tour. The event, which will take place from November 28th to November 30th in Atlanta, aims to provide exposure for SEC student-athletes who are seeking career opportunities in various fields. Lucas and Rosley will join 26 other current and former SEC athletes for the three-day event.
During the SEC Career Tour, student-athletes will have the chance to connect with human resource recruiters, submit their resumes for entry-level jobs and internships, and gain valuable knowledge of professional branding. The group is scheduled to visit the headquarters of several corporations and organizations in the Atlanta area, including Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Jackson Spalding, Microsoft, Learfield, and Trilith Studios. They will also have the opportunity to meet with SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey and learn insights into building effective business relationships and best practices for job seekers.
Bryanna Lucas, a senior from Louisville, Kentucky, is a Kinesiology major with a 3.6 GPA. She was recently named to the 2023 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. Lucas participates as a distance runner and has helped her team score numerous points at various SEC competitions. She achieved the second-fastest distance medley time in school history and won a bronze medal at the 2021-22 SEC Indoor Championships.
Zane Rosley, a double major in Finance and Management at UK, hails from White Lake, Michigan. He has achieved numerous academic and athletic accomplishments during his time at the university. Rosley was a 2021 NCAA qualifier, a member of the 2021 All-SEC Freshman Team, and ranks in the program’s all-time top ten in five different events. He has also been recognized for his academic achievements, being a two-time member of the CSCAA Scholar All-America First Team and a 2022-23 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection. He has consistently been included on the SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll for the past two years.
