The University of Louisville‘s student-athletes’ academic achievements are not new to the school. Ten of the school sports teams scored a perfect score of 1,000, based on the NCAA’s single-year Academic Progress Rate (APR) data released in 2021-22. These teams include men’s basketball, women’s basketball, men’s cross country, women’s golf, men’s golf, women’s tennis, men’s tennis, women’s lacrosse, softball, and volleyball. The APR is an academic metric that tracks student-athletes’ eligibility, retention, and graduation rates.

In conclusion, the University of Louisville‘s student-athletes continue to exhibit their dedication to excelling both in their respective sports and academics. The school’s high GPAs and achievements in 10 of its sports teams in the APR data show that academics and sports excellence can go hand-in-hand.
