He finishes his high school career with an impressive record of 94-5, having scored 2,040 career points, averaging 21.6 points per game. He is a McDonald’s All-American and was named the New Jersey Gatorade Player of the Year in 2021. Wagner committed to the University of Kentucky in July 2021, choosing the Wildcats over several other top college programs. He is the top-ranked player in Kentucky’s highly touted Class of 2023, and is expected to make an immediate impact at the collegiate level. Many scouts and analysts believe he has the potential to be a future NBA star.
