Kentucky Gymnastics Ready to Kick Off 2024 Season in Las Vegas

by

LEXINGTON, Ky. – It’s an exciting time for Kentucky gymnastics as they gear up for their 50th season. The Wildcats will be kicking off their milestone season at the Mean Girls Super 16 Gymnastics Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada at The Orleans Arena.

This quad meet will feature some tough competition, as Kentucky takes on three formidable opponents – No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 6 Michigan, and No. 11 Michigan State. The Wildcats will be vying for victory and looking to make a strong impression in this high-profile event.

Leading the charge for Kentucky is Head Coach Tim Garrison, who is entering his 13th season at the helm of the gymnastics program. Under Garrison’s leadership, the Wildcats have consistently appeared in the Women’s College Gymnastics Association preseason poll. Last season, Kentucky finished ranked No. 6, marking their most successful campaign to date.

Fans who can’t make it to the arena can still keep up with the meet’s progression through live stream and live stat links that will be made available. And for those interested in attending the event, ticket information and meet details can be found online.
