Notably, May also had a hand in promoting the first-ever national Senior CLASS Award winner in the school’s history and contributed to the Wildcats earning two honorees in seven years. Apart from his endeavors in baseball, May serves as the secondary contact for Kentucky’s highly-regarded football program, providing support to UK publicist legends Tony Neely and Susan Lax.
Prior to joining UK, May spent three years as the media relations manager for the Keeneland Association. His experience also includes a significant stint as the beat writer and columnist for The Cats’ Pause and CatsPause.com from November 2001 to August 2013, during which he served as the lead reporter for University of Kentucky football, men’s and women’s basketball, and baseball.

In addition to his professional achievements, he holds a journalism degree from UK, having graduated in 2000. Outside of his career, May is a family man, married to his wife Carmen, and they have three children: Max, Miles, and Chloe.
