Kentucky Set to Battle Arkansas in Regional Semifinals

In a highly anticipated showdown, the No. 8 seeded Kentucky Volleyball team will face off against the No. 9 seeded Arkansas in the 2023 NCAA Volleyball Championship Regional Semifinals. The match will take place on Thursday afternoon at the prestigious Bob Devaney Center in Lincoln, Nebraska, and will be hosted by the University of Nebraska.

Fans can catch all the action on ESPNU and the ESPN app, with the talented trio of Courtney Lyle, Holly McPeak, and Katie George providing the commentary from Lincoln. The match is scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m. ET, or 30 minutes after the conclusion of the (1) Nebraska vs. Georgia Tech match, which kicks off at 2 p.m. ET and will be televised on ESPN2.

Ticket details for the regional semifinals will be announced later in the week by Nebraska, the host institution. The winners of this matchup will advance to the next round and vie for a spot in the NCAA Final Four. The exact time of the championship game on Saturday, December 9, will be determined at a later date.

It is worth noting that Rupp Arena at Central Bank Center will be the primary home venue for the Kentucky gymnastics, volleyball, and women’s basketball teams during the 2023-24 season. This temporary relocation is due to the ongoing $82 million renovation of Memorial Coliseum.
