Lacrosse Team Announces 11 New Signings for 2024

The University of Louisville women’s lacrosse team recently announced the signing of 11 new players to their 2024 class, bringing in fresh talent to bolster the team’s roster. Head coach Scott Teeter expressed his excitement for the new recruits, stating that they add depth to every position on the team.

The signing class consists of five midfielders, three attackers, two defenders, and one goalie. Coach Teeter is confident that these players, hailing from different states like California, Maryland, Ohio, and more, will bring valuable skills and a strong work ethic to the Cardinal program.

Among the new signings is Abbie Dunlap, a midfielder from Columbus, Ohio, who brings versatility to the team. Charlotte Jackson, a midfielder from Raleigh, N.C., is expected to contribute with her strong game IQ. Ella Berg, an attacker from Blaine, Minn., has shown promise at Gentry Academy. Ella Terrell, a midfielder from Wauconda, Ill., is recognized for her exceptional skills.

Haley Richards, a goalie from Moraga, Calif., is expected to provide a reliable presence in the net. Issy Leech, an attacker from Queenstown, Md., adds depth to the team’s offensive lineup. Kate Daniels, an attacker from Charlotte, N.C., is known for her scoring ability. Lilly Boyle, a midfielder from Columbus, Ohio, will strengthen the team’s midfield.

The signing class also includes Olivia Scroggie, a defender from Boca Raton, Fla., who brings defensive prowess. Riley Engelberg, a defender from Alexandria, Va., is expected to contribute to the team’s solid defense. Rosie Cobler, a midfielder from Louisville, Ky., is a local talent from Sacred Heart Academy.

Coach Teeter is thrilled to welcome these new players to the Cardinal Family and is confident in their abilities both on and off the field. He believes that they possess a high skill set and a great work ethic, which are qualities the Cardinals pride themselves on.
