Louisville Cardinals dominated the court against Boston College Eagles in an 88-60 victory at the KFC Yum! Center. The Cardinals showcased their dominance, shooting an impressive 57.1 percent from the field. This marks the seventh time this season that they’ve shot 50 percent or better, and they remain unbeaten in those games.

The Cardinals’ offensive firepower was on full display, scoring the most points against an ACC opponent since February 6, 2022. Their shooting percentage was equally impressive, marking the best shooting display against an ACC opponent since February 27, 2022.

With this win, Louisville continues to solidify their position as a force to be reckoned with in ACC play. They hold an impressive 132-25 record in conference play since the 2014-15 season, making them the only program with a winning percentage of .800 or greater in ACC play over the past 10 seasons.

Louisville also demonstrated their defensive prowess, forcing the Eagles into 20 turnovers. This marks the 13th time this season they’ve forced 20 or more turnovers in a game, with four of those occasions coming against ACC opponents.

Not only did Louisville dominate as a team, but their individual players also shined. Kiki Jefferson led the team with a season-high 27 points, along with seven rebounds and four assists. This performance marks Jefferson’s third 20-point game of the season and her 44th of her career.

Olivia Cochran continued her impressive form, scoring double-digit points for the 12th consecutive game. She contributed 10 points and grabbed a team-best seven rebounds. Elif Istanbulluoglu also had a standout game, scoring a career-high 11 points on 5-for-8 shooting, along with four rebounds.

Nina Rickards facilitated the offense with a team-best four assists, while also contributing six points, four rebounds, and a steal.

With this victory, the Cardinals continue to establish themselves as a dominant force in college basketball. They have an impressive record of 97-5 in their last 100 games when scoring 70 or more points, and a remarkable 198-10 record against unranked opponents. The Cardinals’ winning ways are sure to make them a team to watch as the season progresses.
