In an exhilarating match that went into double overtime, the No. 12-ranked University of Louisville field hockey team defeated No. 13 Boston College by a score of 2-1. The winning goal came from Mia Duchars with just 7:16 left on the clock. Head coach Justine Sowry expressed her pride in the team, stating, “I’m so proud of our team right now…Today we got back to playing our game, together as a unit.” The victory was a much-needed boost for Louisville, as they had been struggling in recent weeks.

However, neither team managed to score, and the game moved into a second overtime.
