Koron Davis is a dynamic combo guard who has committed to play for the Louisville Cardinals men’s basketball team as part of the Class of 2023. After a standout career at Los Angeles Southwest in the JUCO ranks, Davis is ready to make an impact at the next level.
Davis’ recruitment to Louisville was quick but impactful, with the 6-foot-7 guard being offered a scholarship by head coach Kenny Payne and his staff just 10 days before committing. According to Davis, the decision to choose Louisville was an easy one, as the program’s play style felt like the perfect fit for his skills and personality.
Off the court, Davis is motivated by a desire to make his mother proud, and his commitment to hard work and dedication is evident in his impressive stats on the court. In his sophomore season at LA Southwest, Davis has averaged an impressive 25.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game over the course of 18 games, with his scoring mark ranking second in the California Community College Athletic Association.
Davis’ scoring ability is especially noteworthy, as he has proven himself to be a prolific scorer and playmaker. He boasts an impressive shooting percentage of 49.2% from the field, 36.5% on three-point attempts, and 81.4% at the free throw line.
