Brown showcased his versatility by leading the team in pass receptions with 40 and contributing 439 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He also had three punt returns for 51 yards and 10 rushing attempts for 121 yards.

DeLeye’s impressive statistics speak for themselves, with an average of 71 kills per set, earning her the title of SEC Freshman of the Year. Alongside her, teammates Eleanor Beavin, Emma Grome, Reagan Rutherford, and Azhani Tealer have also been recognized for their outstanding performances. This talented group of players has earned spots on the AVCA’s All-Southeast Region Team, which is comprised of teams from the SEC, Atlantic Sun, Big South, Southern Conference, SWAC, and Sun Belt.

This is the first time Sheppard has received this honor, and it marks the second consecutive week that a UK freshman has been named the top-performing first-year player in the SEC, following D.J. Wagner’s recognition last week. The University of Kentucky has a storied history of success in the SEC, having earned a total of 127 weekly SEC honors during the John Calipari era. Among these accolades, 96 have been SEC Freshman of the Week awards, and 31 have been SEC Player of the Week honors.

Petty’s standout performance came in a game against Tennessee Tech on Sunday, where she led her team to victory with a career-high 33 points and 15 rebounds. This remarkable feat places her in an elite group of Wildcats players, as only four individuals in the program’s history have achieved a 30-15 double-double. The last player to accomplish this feat was Valerie Still over a decade ago. Still, an all-time great for Kentucky, witnessed Petty’s success firsthand from the stands.

Davis, a graduate transfer from San Francisco, had an impressive season, totaling 1,066 yards on the ground with 13 rushing touchdowns. He also contributed 317 receiving yards and seven touchdowns through the air. Davis’s remarkable performance earned him the title of the program’s single-season record holder in touchdowns and scoring, and he currently ranks 13th on the program’s single-season rushing yards list.
