The signing class consists of five midfielders, three attackers, two defenders, and one goalie. Coach Teeter is confident that these players, hailing from different states like California, Maryland, Ohio, and more, will bring valuable skills and a strong work ethic to the Cardinal program.

Avant-Roberts, a 5-foot-10 guard from La Jolla, Calif., is a five-star prospect ranked 25th overall and the eighth-ranked guard by espnW HoopGurlz. She chose Louisville over several other top programs. Avant-Roberts has shown great skill and potential, leading her team to a Nike World Basketball Festival championship this past September.

Nayelis Cabello has had great success in club and high school and understands what it takes to win at the highest level. Payton Petersen is signing today after winning the Iowa State Championship and finishing her career as one of the best volleyball players ever from the state of Iowa. Ava Utterback will add explosiveness and skill to our pin hitters. Both Payton and Ava are true six rotations outside attackers and could find themselves on the court very early in their careers. Fans are going to enjoy watching this talented group as they bring a lot of the fun characteristic Card Nation has grown to love.”
