Grome, who led the NCAA with an average of 12.10 assists per set, played a crucial role in driving the Kentucky offense to an outstanding .285 hitting percentage for the season. She helped her team become the only one in the SEC with six different players averaging over two kills per set. Grome also displayed strong defensive skills, contributing 1.75 digs per set and a career-best 43 blocks throughout the season. Her exceptional performance has earned her a spot on the All-SEC team for the third consecutive year, as well as an AVCA All-Region membership. Grome has been a consistent presence on the AVCA Second Team All-American list throughout her three seasons with the Kentucky Volleyball team.

DeLeye’s impressive statistics speak for themselves, with an average of 71 kills per set, earning her the title of SEC Freshman of the Year. Alongside her, teammates Eleanor Beavin, Emma Grome, Reagan Rutherford, and Azhani Tealer have also been recognized for their outstanding performances. This talented group of players has earned spots on the AVCA’s All-Southeast Region Team, which is comprised of teams from the SEC, Atlantic Sun, Big South, Southern Conference, SWAC, and Sun Belt.

Grome’s exceptional performance on the court this week added to her NCAA-leading average of 12.00 assists per set. She played a pivotal role in leading the UK offense to a .372 hitting percentage in two matches combined, registering 12.88 assists per set during the week. Grome’s standout performance included 55 assists against Texas A&M and 48 assists against Mizzou. She also showcased her defensive skills with six digs in each match, and her decision-making and leadership were instrumental in the Wildcats’ three total sets where they hit .500 or above as a team.

Freshman Brooklyn DeLeye led the way with 18 kills, followed by Elise Goetzinger with 13, Erin Lamb with 12, and Azhani Tealer with 12. The Wildcats attacked at an impressive .360 clip, while holding Texas A&M to just .211.
