Guerendo capitalized on the opportunity and scored his second touchdown of the game with a one-yard run, cutting the deficit to seven points.

Led by running back Isaac Guerendo, the Cardinals offense was firing on all cylinders. Guerendo had a standout game, rushing for three touchdowns and 146 yards on just 11 attempts. His first touchdown, a 39-yard run, gave Louisville a 14-0 lead to start the second quarter. Guerendo’s impressive performance also included a 12-yard touchdown run in the third quarter and a sealing 36-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter. This marked Guerendo’s first 100-yard rushing game at Louisville and a single-game career-high in touchdowns.
