Stephens’s success was highlighted by his victory at the USATF U20 national championship in the men’s high jump. Competing at the renowned Hayward Field in July, Stephens cleared an impressive height of 2.15m (7-0.5), securing first place in the event. This outstanding performance not only earned him a national championship title but also made him only the third Louisville student athlete in school history to win an event at the USATF U20 Championships.
