Unfortunately for Kentucky, they were without the services of freshman guards Justin Edwards and D.J. Wagner, both of whom missed the game due to injury.

Antonio Reeves also contributed 15 points for Kentucky, although he struggled with his shooting, making just 6 of 18 attempts from the floor. Tre Mitchell provided additional support with 13 points and five rebounds. However, Kentucky’s final score of 62 points was the lowest they have recorded all season.

Kentucky’s overall performance was impressive, with Tre Mitchell contributing a double-double of 20 points and 14 rebounds. D.J. Wagner added 16 points, Antonio Reeves scored 14, and Aaron Bradshaw had 10 points for the team.

Freshman Reed Sheppard added 13 points and four steals to the Cats’ stat line.
