Trey Allen and Jayden Ulrich were both recognized for the second time this season and received the ACC Field Performers of the Week awards. Cade DeWitt, a freshman, also received his second conference weekly award and was named the ACC Male Freshman of the Week.

This includes notable players like wide receiver Chris Bell, defensive lineman Ashton Gillotte, offensive lineman Michael Gonzalez, center Bryan Hudson, long snapper Shai Kochav, tight end Josh Lifson, defensive lineman Ramon Puryear, defensive lineman Mason Reiger, and placekicker Brock Travelstead. These players have consistently shown their commitment to academic excellence, and this recognition highlights their hard work on and off the field.

The Cardinals collectively scored a 14-over-par 574, trailing Florida by 12 shots, who leads the tournament at 2-over-par. North Florida is also ahead of Louisville in second place, shooting 9-over-par. Louisville started their spring season on Monday with a solid performance, shooting a 3-over-par 283 in the second round.

Louisville started the match by dropping the doubles point, as Middle Tennessee claimed victories on courts two and three. Alessia Truden and Lilly-Sophie Schmidt defeated Louisville’s Jamilah Snells and Allie Gretkowski 6-1, while Sana Garakani and Eloise Swarbrick secured the point for Middle Tennessee with a 6-4 victory over Berta Miret and Lillian Mould.

The Cardinals had an impressive showing in multiple events, sweeping their opponents in several disciplines. Ilia Sibirtsev led the way in the distance events, while Denis Petrashov dominated the breaststroke. Lindsay Gizzi excelled in diving, Gabi Albiero showcased her skills in the butterfly, and Christiana Regenauer sprinted her way to victory. The Cardinals also won all four relays, with impressive performances from Ella Welch, Gabi Albiero, Dalton Lowe, Denis Petrashov, and Matias Santiso.

The Gators are not only the defending national champions but are also the two-time defending champions of the Sea Best Invitational. They will be the team to beat at the TPC Sawgrass Dye’s Valley Course.
