Harvard Transfer To Kentucky

The Kentucky Wildcats are headed to Nashville for the SEC tournament and after that they’ll hopefully be headed to the NCAA tourney as a #7 seed or better, depending on the outcome of the SEC tournament. But coach John Calipari and staff are actively exploring the transfer portal for new talent. This trend is becoming increasingly common, with players from teams that have concluded their seasons now seeking new opportunities.

One recent addition to the transfer portal is Chris Ledlum, the star forward from Harvard. Standing at 6-foot-6, Ledlum has garnered attention from a total of 16 schools, including Kentucky, UCLA, Ohio State, and Maryland. This news was broken by Andrew Slater of Cerebro Sports on Twitter.

Ledlum’s impressive performances this season earned him the title of unanimous First-Team All-Ivy League player. He recorded an average of 18.8 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.8 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game while maintaining an impressive field goal percentage of 47.3%. His skill set and track record make him a valuable asset for any team in need of a versatile forward.

There are a lot of teams in play for this young player. While Harvard doesn’t play the strongest schedule nor are they in an elite conference, the numbers he put up are nothing to sneeze at. It remains to be seen which team Ledlum will choose, but with a wide range of options available, he is sure to attract plenty of interest.
