The University of Kentucky sports network has announced a new way for fans to stay connected and informed about all things Kentucky Athletics. Starting on December 8th, subscribers will receive a daily email newsletter called “The Big Blue Brew,” presented by Commonwealth Credit Union. The newsletter will provide a mix of news, trivia, highlights, and important information about upcoming games and events.
“We are excited to bring ‘The Big Blue Brew’ to our passionate fanbase,” said Commonwealth Credit Union President and CEO, Karen Harbin. “This daily dose of energy and information will help fans kick-start their mornings while keeping them up to date with everything happening with the Cats. It’s just one more way that Commonwealth Credit Union is making a positive impact in Lexington and beyond.”
The newsletter will include a variety of features designed to engage fans. “Stock Up” will provide bite-sized updates from every program, along with highlights from the previous night’s games that could rival those seen on SportsCenter. “One Big Thing” will showcase a top highlight or news story of the day. Podcasts will also be available to upgrade fans’ morning commute, and contests will be held for a chance to win prizes. UK Sports Network and Sport & Story, a leading content production and technology company, will curate the content for the newsletter.
