Louisville Cardinals softball pitcher Alyssa Zabala has been selected to join the Manatee Impact team in the Florida Gulf Coast League. Zabala, a right-handed pitcher from Miami, Florida, had an impressive rookie season with the Cardinals, leading her team to an NCAA regional appearance. Her performance included 14 wins and team-high 94 strikeouts in 121 innings pitched. The ACC All-Freshmen team honoree is set to make her debut with the Impact on June 15th against the Bradenton Slice.
