In what was a dominating performance, Hailey Van Lith caught fire against the Demon Deacons of Wake Forest.  Van Lethal came out firing from the field scoring 17 points in the first quarter alone.

Van Lith led all scorers with 26 points against the Demon Deacons (16-16). Her 26 points were the most she has scored in an ACC tournament since she arrived at Louisville. Her tally was also 3rd most ever scored by a Louisville player in ACC play.

Mykasa Robinson was on fire as well handing out 10 dimes, eight boards and 3 steals.  Robinson has led the Cardinals in assists in the previous nine games. Chrislyn Carr had 16 and Olivia Cochran also joined the double figures club with 11 points.

But the story of the night was Van Lith. She shot 7-11 from the field and went 4 for 5 from beyond the arc. With Van Lith on fire it wasn’t hard for Robinson to get 5 assists in the first half. With all the shots flying up Harris was able to pull down 8 boards in the first half alone.

Louisville faces off with Notre Dame in the ACC-semis today at noon EST.  Todays matching with be the third time this season the two teams have met.

With the Louisville Cardinals mens program struggling this year, the Lady Cards are the ones to keep an eye on.
