The University of Louisville’s track and field teams will send seven individuals and three relays to compete in the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships from June 7-10 at the Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas. ESPNU and ESPN 2 will be airing the events, and the competition starts on June 7 with the onset of the men’s decathlon at 3:30 p.m. ET. Those competing this weekend for the Cardinals include Trey Allen, Bryan Hudson, Paul Kallenberg, Cameron Miller, Synclair Savage, Sterling Warner-Savage, Aliyah Welter, the women’s 4x100m relay team, the men’s 4x100m relay team, and the men’s 4x400m relay team.

Trey Allen is going to his third consecutive season to the championship meet with the second-best mark in the nation in the men’s high jump after clearing 2.25m (7-4.5) to set a new school record. Bryan Hudson will make his debut in the national meet, stepping into the ring for the men’s shot put. Paul Kallenberg took part in the decathlon last month and captures his first ACC title by totaling a new personal-best of 7,742 points that stands 15th nationally entering the competition.

Cameron Miller, who just earned Indoor First Team All-American honors in March, holds the fourth-fastest time in the country in the 200m, covering the distance in a wind-aided 19.93 at the UF Tom Jones Memorial, and he will also compete in the men’s 4x100m and 4x400m relays. Synclair Savage broke her own school record in the women’s long jump at 6.53m (21-5.25) and also earned second place at the ACC Outdoor Championships in the same event. Sterling Warner-Savage, a three-time Indoor All-American, qualified in the 100m after running a wind-assisted 10.07 at the NCAA East Preliminaries.

Aliyah Welter will compete in the pole vault at her third consecutive national outdoor championship meet where she claimed the silver at the ACC Outdoor Championships with a season-best clearance of 4.28m (14-0.5). Meanwhile, the women’s 4x100m relay featuring Taylor Herbert, Kiyah Yeast, Tiriah Kelley, and Synclair Savage comes into the meet after blazing to a new program-record time of 44.10 at the NCAA East Preliminaries, securing their spot.

The Cardinals will also be competing in three relays, starting with the men’s 4x100m relay featuring Nolan Macklin, Miller, Jeremiah Willis, and Warner-Savage. The men’s 4x400m relay team of Noah Carmichael, Miller, Robert Joseph, and Isiah Pantiere rounds out the meet’s participants for the Cardinals and the women’s 4x100m relay team featuring Herbert, Yeast, Kelley, and Savage.

The top eight finishers in each event will be recognized as First Team All-Americans, while those athletes who finish 9-16 and 17-24 will be named Second Team All-Americans and Honorable Mention All-American, respectively.
