The University of Louisville Athletic Department has announced a new all-inclusive, on-field premium seating option for the 2023 football games. These Turf Seats will be located in the South end zone and Southwest sideline of L&N Stadium and comprise 56 on-field seats for fans to enjoy a unique and unprecedented view of the action. This exclusive seating option includes several perks, such as premium parking pass, upscale stadium seating, pre-game, and post-game field access, in-seat waiting service, and an all-inclusive food and beverage menu. Moreover, fans will have the right of first refusal to all L&N Stadium events.
The idea of on-field seating is quite common in the National Football League, but Louisville Cardinals is one of the first college teams to offer this exciting seating option to their fan base. This announcement is part of Louisville’s efforts to enhance the gameday experience for their fanbase by providing unique seating experiences. Last year, the university partnered with a third-party firm that specializes in sports entertainment, hospitality, and leisure industries to research additional premium seating options. The Turf Seats are the first execution resulting from that research, and the university plans to announce more seating options in the future.
