Louisville Cardinals Football‘s schedule for the first three games of the 2023 season has been announced by the Atlantic Coast Conference. According to the announcement, the Cardinals will begin their season on September 1, 2023, facing off against the Yellow Jackets of Georgia Tech in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game. The game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, and will be telecast on ESPN. Six days after the season opener, the Cardinals will host Murray State at the L&N Stadium on September 7, which will be broadcast on the ACC Network.

On September 16, 2023, the Louisville Cardinals Football team will face off against Indiana in a neutral-site contest at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. This meeting will be the first between these two teams since 1986. The game is scheduled for noon on the Big Ten Network.
