Cason Wallace and Chris Livingston are two highly-touted freshmen basketball players who came to the University of Kentucky with a lot of hype and expectations. Despite their talent, however, they weren’t able to lead their team to a deep run in the NCAA tournament, losing in the second round to Kansas State.
While the loss was undoubtedly disappointing, both players seemed to handle themselves with grace and maturity during their postgame press conference. They spoke about their love for their teammates and coaches, as well as the bonds they’ve formed during their time in Lexington.

Despite their individual successes, both players emphasized that they were proud of what their team accomplished this season, despite the ups and downs they faced along the way.
