The Kentucky Wildcats are on the cusp of producing a top 2023 NFL Draft pick. Quarterback Will Levis has signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA), putting himself in a great position to achieve that feat.
Despite enduring a challenging 2022 season with injuries and sub-par offensive line performance, Levis still managed to put up great numbers. Levis has a pass completion percentage of 65.4, throwing for 2,406 yards and 19 TD’s, while also against ten interceptions. Even though those stats didn’t quite match his standout 2021 season, which saw him complete 66 percent of his passes for 2,826 yards and 24 touchdowns, he proved his worth and resilience as a player.
Levis has certainly demonstrated his worth, becoming the only quarterback at the University of Kentucky to beat the Louisville Cardinals and the Florida Gators on two occasions each. With an impressive W/L record of 17-7 as a starter in two season at UK, he ranks fourth in touchdowns responsible for (54), fifth in passing touchdowns (43), fifth in total offense (5,501 yards), and sixth in passing yards (5,232). This makes him an exciting prospect for the upcoming NFL Draft.
Kentucky fans should be getting excited. Levis is a strong contender for a top-5 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft. If he’s chosen within the top five, he’ll be the first Kentucky player to achieve that since Dewayne Robertson in 2003. Levis’ impressive statistics and leadership qualities make him a valuable addition to any NFL team. There is no doubt that he will continue to make strides in his career, and Wildcats fans will be eagerly watching his next steps.
