Kentucky football is proud to have four players selected to participate in the 75th annual Reese’s Senior Bowl. The game will take place on Saturday, Feb. 3 at Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile, Alabama. Senior running back Ray Davis, senior offensive lineman Jeremy Flax, junior defensive back Andru Phillips, and junior inside linebacker Trevin Wallace will all be representing the American team.
Fans can catch all three days of practice, which begin today, on both NFL Network and ESPN. The game itself will be aired live on the NFL Network at 1 p.m. ET.
Ray Davis, a graduate transfer from San Francisco, had an outstanding season with the Wildcats. He recorded 1,129 rushing yards, 14 rushing touchdowns, 323 receiving yards, and seven receiving touchdowns. Davis set a single-season school record with 21 touchdowns and became the 11th player in school history to reach 1,000 rushing yards in a season. He also holds the record for the most touchdown catches in a season by a running back in school history.
Jeremy Flax, a key member of Kentucky’s offensive line, was recognized for his excellent play throughout his collegiate career. He was listed on the midseason honor roll for the Joe Moore Award, given to the nation’s best offensive line, in five of the last six seasons. Flax was also named the Outland Trophy National Player of the Week and SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week in 2023.
Andru Phillips, a native of Mauldin, South Carolina, made an impact on the Wildcats’ defense. In his junior season, he recorded 47 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and five pass breakups. Phillips graduated with a degree in integrated strategic communication.
Trevin Wallace, from Jesup, Georgia, also declared for the NFL Draft after his junior season. He had an impressive career at Kentucky, recording 166 tackles, 18.0 tackles for loss, 10.0 sacks, three interceptions, and two forced fumbles. In his junior season, Wallace had 80 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, and an interception.
The Reese’s Senior Bowl is known for being the most prestigious college all-star game. This year’s game will be coached by Tennessee Titans’ assistant head coach/defensive line coach Terrell Williams (American team) and New York Jets’ defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich (National team).
Kentucky has a strong history of having players participate in the Senior Bowl, with 52 players in total and 20 players from the Mark Stoops era. The Senior Bowl is an important step in the NFL Draft process, with 100 total players drafted and 40 selected in the first three rounds of the 2023 NFL Draft coming from the Senior Bowl.
