May’s ascension to the NCBWA President role comes after serving on the organization’s Board of Directors and as the Vice President in 2023. Throughout his tenure, May has played a crucial role in promoting two of the most successful seasons in Kentucky baseball history, specifically the 2017 and 2022 NCAA Lexington Regional Championships.

She has had an impressive youth career, playing for the No. 2 ranked ECNL team and reaching the national semifinals and finals. Bush, who was one of the top running backs in school history, led Louisville to three consecutive bowl appearances from 2003 to 2005.
