Barker-John had a slow start to the season, but he soon found his stride and became an instrumental player for the Cardinals. Scoring just one point in the first six matches, the sophomore showcased his skills by scoring eight goals in an eight-match stretch, including several multi-goal performances. Barker-John currently leads the Cardinals with nine goals and 21 points, placing him sixth and fifth in the ACC, respectively.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – This Sunday, the University of Louisville men’s soccer team will embark on a challenging match against second-ranked Notre Dame in the quarterfinal round of the ACC Championship. The highly anticipated game is scheduled to kick off at 8 p.m. ET and will be televised on the ACC Network.

Coach Brohm emphasized the defensive performance, highlighting the team’s ability to apply pressure on the quarterback and disrupt opponents’ passing game. Albiero won the 200 fly, 100 fly, and was part of the 200 Medley Relay. Mehraban emerged victorious in the 200 free, 100 free, and 400 Free Relay. Herkle showcased her talent in the 100 breast, 200 breast, and 200 Individual Medley. Regenauer contributed to the 200 Medley Relay, won the 50 free, and was part of the 400 Free Relay. Lindsay Gizzi also made an impact, sweeping both diving boards.

On December 2, the Cardinals will start the season with a split between the Commonwealth College Opener in Louisville and the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener in Boston, Massachusetts. After the new year, competition will resume with the Rod McCravy Memorial Invite on January 12-13 and the Bellarmine Open on January 19. The team will then host the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational on January 26-27.
