The doubles’ point ultimately came down to court two, where Taha Baadi and Matt Rankin overcame Notre Dame’s Chase Thompson and Evan Lee with a score of 6-4, giving Kentucky a 1-0 lead.

Cardinals Read: No. 12/3 Swimming and Diving Team Secures Split against No. 17/NR Notre Dame
The Louisville women’s team produced multiple event winners, including Gabi Albiero, Lucy Mehraban, Kim Herkle, and Christiana Regenauer. Albiero won the 200 fly, 100 fly, and was part of the 200 Medley Relay. Mehraban emerged victorious in the 200 free, 100 free, and 400 Free Relay. Herkle showcased her talent in the 100 breast, 200 breast, and 200 Individual Medley. Regenauer contributed to the 200 Medley Relay, won the 50 free, and was part of the 400 Free Relay. Lindsay Gizzi also made an impact, sweeping both diving boards.
