Louisville, KY – In a thrilling 38-31 victory over Miami, University of Louisville’s star quarterback, Jack Plummer, was recognized as one of the eight Manning Stars of the Week. Plummer’s exceptional performance included completing 24-of-37 passes for 309 yards and three touchdowns, making this his third three-touchdown game and 300-yard passing game of the season.
The senior quarterback’s most memorable play came in the final minutes of the game when he connected with wide receiver Kevin Coleman for a 58-yard scoring pass, ultimately securing the win for the Cardinals. This triumphant play also secured Louisville’s spot in their first-ever Atlantic Coast Conference title game against Florida State, which will take place on December 2nd at Bank of America in Charlotte, North Carolina.
In addition to the game-winning pass, Plummer also threw touchdown passes to tight end Nate Kurisky and offensive lineman Trevonte Sylvester. Plummer’s impressive fourth-quarter performance cannot be overlooked. He completed 6-of-7 passes for 103 yards, contributing significantly to the Cardinals’ 10th win of the season, a feat they haven’t achieved since 2013.
